Terms of Use

The terms that govern use of the Lake Tahoe Glass website — estimates, service area, acceptable use, disclaimers and California venue.

Agreement to these terms

Effective date: July 2, 2026. These Terms of Use govern your use of laketahoeglassca.com, operated by Lake Tahoe Glass of 2621 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the site. Requesting or purchasing glass services may also involve a written estimate or invoice, which controls for that work.

What this site is

The site describes glass services we offer on the California side of the Lake Tahoe basin and lets you request a free estimate. All content is provided for general information. It is not a binding offer; every job is subject to our direct estimate and written confirmation.

Estimates & pricing

Estimates are free and given in good faith based on what you describe and show us. Photo ballparks are preliminary; final pricing follows our own measurement and is approved by you before work begins. If the scope changes once we see the job, we re-quote before any additional work starts. Cost ranges quoted on this site are national industry figures for orientation only — they are not quotes for your project.

Service area

We are a California-licensed glass shop and serve the California side of Lake Tahoe only — from Meyers through South Lake Tahoe, the West Shore, and the California North Shore to Kings Beach. We do not perform work at Nevada addresses (including Stateline, Zephyr Cove, Kingsbury, Glenbrook, Crystal Bay and Incline Village) or in Truckee. Winter conditions (including Highway 89 closures at Emerald Bay) can affect scheduling; we communicate honestly about timing.

Scheduling & site access

Appointments are subject to confirmation. For work at your property you agree to provide safe, lawful access (directly, or through your property manager or lockbox arrangement, which you are responsible for authorizing). Same-day board-up availability depends on call time and crew load, as described on the site — we are not a 24/7 emergency dispatch.

Acceptable use of the site

  • No unlawful, deceptive or fraudulent use, and no submissions on someone else’s behalf without authority.
  • No scraping, bulk harvesting, or automated form submissions; our forms use bot protection and abusive traffic may be blocked.
  • No attempts to probe, disrupt or bypass security, and no uploading of malicious code or unlawful images.
  • Photos you submit must be yours to share and relevant to the requested work.

Intellectual property

The site’s content, text, design, photographs (including our project photography) and the “Clear as the Lake.” tagline belong to Lake Tahoe Glass or its licensors. You may view and share links, but may not reproduce or use content commercially without written permission. Google, Cloudflare, Yelp, Andersen and other marks belong to their owners.

Content disclaimers

Guides, Q&A answers and articles are general information for mountain homeowners — not engineering, building-code, legal or insurance advice for a specific property. Building requirements vary and change; verify requirements with your local building department, and coverage questions with your insurer. THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Nothing in these terms limits warranties stated in a written estimate or invoice for actual glass work, or rights you have under California consumer law that cannot be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lake Tahoe Glass is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of this website, and our total liability arising from the website will not exceed $100. This section applies to the website only — liability for performed glass work is addressed in the written terms of that work and by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Lake Tahoe Glass against claims arising from your unlawful use of the site or your violation of these terms (for example, submitting content you had no right to submit).

Governing law & venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from the website will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving El Dorado County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. (This section addresses website disputes; disputes about performed work follow the written terms of that work and applicable law.)

Licensing & insurance

Lake Tahoe Glass is a licensed and insured California glass contractor and an Andersen PREMIER Certified Contractor. License details appear on our written estimates and invoices and are available on request.

Changes, severability & contact

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page (last updated July 2, 2026). If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Questions: (530) 544-5884 · [email protected].
