About Lake Tahoe Glass
Lake Tahoe Glass has been South Lake Tahoe’s full-service glass shop since 1984 — family-owned and operated for over four decades, with a real storefront at 2621 Lake Tahoe Blvd, not a dispatch number that routes over the hill. Windows and foggy dual-panes, full window replacement, shower doors and enclosures, custom mirrors, glass railings and wind walls, storefront glass, board-ups and glass cut to size: if it’s glass on the California shore, it’s our work.
Two things shape how we operate. First, altitude: at 6,200+ feet, sealed glass units built for sea level fail early — so every unit we order is built for the lake. Second, honesty about our footprint: we’re California-licensed, so we serve the CA side only — Meyers to Kings Beach, right up to the stateline — and we’ll say so rather than take a job we shouldn’t.
We’re an Andersen PREMIER Certified Contractor, which means factory-trained installation and Andersen’s exclusive two-year limited installation warranty on our Andersen installs — and our portfolio runs to the hard stuff: curved frameless wind walls and railing runs on a Tahoe lakefront estate.

From Photo to Clear Glass — With Real Timelines
1 Send photos or call
Two or three photos and rough width × height through the form — or just call the shop. Requests in by early afternoon usually get a ballpark the same business day.
2 We measure it right
Free estimate confirmed with our own tape — at your place, or bring small pieces to the storefront. The number you approve is the number on the invoice — changes get re-quoted first.
3 Glass built for the lake
Fabricated to spec — altitude-built sealed units, tempered where code requires. Typical fabrication: about a week; sealed units and enclosures one to two.
4 Installed clean
Most installs are a single morning. We test everything with you, sweep up to the last sliver, and email photos and the invoice if you’re out of town.
